Présentation
L'activité du groupe PEQ a pour buts l'étude, la
compréhension et l'exploitation de phénomènes optiques
intervenant lorsque le champ électromagnétique est
confiné sur des supports à semi-conducteur, à des
échelles inférieures à la longueur d'onde. Elle vise
à tirer profit des effets quantiques ou non linéaires
intervenant aux faibles dimensionnalités pour concevoir,
réaliser et étudier des dispositifs photoniques avec des
performances impossibles à réaliser autrement.
Les quatre actions du groupe PEQ correspondent à l'étude du
comportement de la lumière dans un semi-conducteur selon quatre
types de conditions :
