Organization
The clean room in its current form was started in 2001.The LPN core facility is
a state-of-the-art 1000 sqm cleanroom, up to class 100, with a bunch of process
and measurement tools providing a broad platform for the development and testing
of new concepts in micro and nanotechnologies. The Laboratory is also a node of
the national BTR network , the
Basic Technology Research
network. More than twenty research engineers and technicians are bringing their
expertise together with researchers, PhD students and post-docs. Equipments are
distributed in several "resources" listed below, some equipments being freely
operated by any user after a qualifying training, while others are under
restricted access.
