Project Overview

The project NANOROBUST (ANR P2N) is a french national project to collaborate with Femto-ST, IRISA, ISIR and LPN-CNRS. The period of the project is for 48 months from 1 November 2011 to 30 October 2005.

The objective of this project is to provide a single demonstrator for its specific robotic manipulation and characterization of nano-objects multiphysics. This is addressed this problem from two different angles covering the characterization in situ and ex situ.

- The automated handling of nano-objects to position the latter, for example, a grid of transmission electron microscope in view of its physical characterization as. This is an example of the importance of spatial manipulation and controlled nano-objects in order to measure these properties on conventional systems of measurement.

- The physical characterization by SEM in situ robotic systems carrying a physical sensor and its control to achieve a measure of properties a nano physical object.
